If you've not before used a press release to market your business or products, then you're missing out on quite possibly one of the most potent marketing tools known to man.

Press releases is good because they bring a news slant to your promotional drive, and because people pay attention to interesting news items.

You should follow a similar writing approach for a press release which you utilize when writing an ad.

Those pointers are referred to as AIDA. AIDA is an acronym for Attention, Interest, Desire, Action. This is a tried and true method to the flow of promotional campaigns.

So, how important is this philosophy?

It is so important that you cannot compose a solid press release without it. If you simply remember the formula AIDA, then you can create excellent press releases whenever you wish.
